North Carolina Wonder of the World Quilt Flower garden The strawberriesThis handsome quilt, Wonder of the World, is quite a quilt from the southeast, North Carolina. The condition of this circa 1870s beauty is excellent. Note the fine hand quilting, the multiple close lines and so much of it. This is one of those quilts that was made, put up, doesn't show use and is going on over 140 year old. The fabrics are a superb green and madder print.
