Sanchez Ayala, Manzanilla Gabriella Oro En Rama NV Rafael Palacios Ripe but smooth tanninsA venerable Sherry house in Sanlucar de Barrameda, Sanchez Ayala was founded in 1789. More recently the bodega was bought in the 1980s and now bottles its own production making it a real "growers Sherry". The Oro bottling is richer and deeper than the standard Manzanilla and is bottled 'En Rama', meaning it is unfiltered, contributing to the creamy texture.
