Clean, bright red & blue fruit on the nose, touch of earthy funk emerges. Seriously structured, tannins course through this and the acidity is up there, like an slightly unripe blackcurrant, despite this there is ripe blackberry, sweet damson fruit, an earthy rusticity that's charming. Would be a perfect partner to a hearty, wintery stew.
