(its a complicated history) Nose: The aromas of rich chocolate, hints of soft mint and honey, some tangy aromas of spiced dark fruits, cedar wood cigar box,

damsons and sweet spices make a subtle show on the nose

Palate: The top of the palate is deliciously rich and complex as expected with the nose

and baked fruit cake

Palate: A little zesty with a rich spirit on the front before mellowing out with a vanilla and citrus note

candied banana and Seville orange peel

rounded finish

Finish: Medium length and gentle

sherry cask notes wrap then palate together alongside the rich and tasty peat notes from the middle palate

fruitiness with candied citrus peel

We think it works particularly well in a Sidecar

Palate: Fresh cut Pears and spiced apple with a very subtle peppery note

Nose: Some nice tropical notes on the nose including coconut
