1950-1960 Fine Porcelain Royal Vale Tea Duo In The Royal Albert "Aden" Pattern Vanity The rack has an artDuring the 1940s Pearsons PLC purchased Colclough of Longton and with it the Royal Vale trade name which came with the official Royal approval. In 1952 Pearsons acquired Lawleys and thus owned the Adderley and Ridgway trade name. In 1957 the Pearson Juggernaut purchased Royal Albert, Paragon and Royal Crown Derby and thus by owning both Royal Albert as well as the Royal Vale trade name through Colclough, items were manufactured during this period
