Pere Labat 2011 Silver Opus Rum 700ml (ABV 43%) Indian Whisky which imparts subtle sweetness andA remarkable ageless rum presented in a magnificent silver bottle. It echoes the Black Opus, a cuve that has been a resounding success, presented for its part as one would imagine in an entirely black bottle. The result of a Creole column distillation, this Silver Opus has benefited from double ageing: first 8 years in bourbon barrels, then an additional 3 years in white burgundy barrels. The tasting reveals aromas of figs, cinnamon and vanilla.
