Remove the backing from the wick sticker on the base of your refill and drop it gently into the jar

Remove any remaining wax and the old wick retainer from your jar with warm water or a blunt knife or spoon (I pop my old wax straight into my wax melter and use it up that way) Use a soapy cloth and dry well to make sure the jar is clean and wax-free
