The shaft is mainly made of the well known Action Army polymer composite. This is already used with the pistol and is particularly resilient. The assembly of the shaft is very easy due to the very high accuracy of fit. To do this, loosen the two Allen screws of the rear sight on the pistol and pull out the rearmost pin
