"Butterflies & Catapillers" by Enid Marx, Eng., (1902-1998) FrescoHand Colored Wood Engraving, 1952, ed. unknown but likely small, 4 1 4 x 7 1 2, signed & dated in pencil, on thin smooth wove simili japan paper. Mat lines penciled in around image, some wrinkling to sheet in image upper left & center, not obtrusive. Marx attended the Central School of Arts & Crafts and the Royal College of Art, and was best known as a designer of patterned fabrics, book jackets and posters for the London Transport. She was awarded
