Rolex Chronograph "Pre-Daytona" 6238 Black Knight fn-0% Oyster booklet and walletReference 6238, produced between 1962 and 1968, is often referred to as the Pre Daytona. It served as the transitional model that bridged Rolexs earlier chronographssuch as references 6034 and 6234with what would soon become the Daytona line, officially introduced with reference 6239 in 1963. All in all, only around 2,000 to 2,500 examples of the 6238 were produced in both steel and gold over that six year span. The 6238 features one of the rarest
