Far less impressive after bottling than it was from cask
but this is all finesse and class
de Montille, Pommard Pezerolles Vintage:2022 one of Chardonnay from Mesnil(50% whole clusters). Here too there is just enough oak influence to merit mentioning framing the elegant essence of poached plum, violet and soft spice wisps. The wood can also be found on the notably more refined and even better defined middle weight flavors that exhibit excellent punch and sneaky length.
