Morning on the Margin La Vie en Rose the light hitting the white9x12 oil on linen panel This piece was painted en plein air along The Margin and then finished up in my studio! I stopped in my tracks when I saw these benches and knew this is what I wanted to paint that morning. I loved the way the morning light was catching the front bench and knew I wanted to try to capture the way the sun bounced off the brick wall and the rocks as the tide was coming in.
