Ideal contrasting work to challenge your young players for a concert or festival. The directors for this commissioned work wanted a piece with contrasting sections, but rather than write a standard fast slow fast I thought I should try something different. I came up with the idea of creating contrasting sections that use the same melody a bit like a theme and
