A more deeply pitched and brooding nose only grudgingly reveals its aromas of cassis plum liqueur and pungent earth where the latter is also found on the vibrant and well-detailed big-bodied and tautly muscular flavors that deliver excellent depth and persistence

Roche Bellene, Echezeaux other_regions_italy This is the first vintageThere is just enough wood present to warrant mentioning on the spicier and more deeply pitched nose of plum, exotic tea and black cherry scents. The sleeker and finer but not denser medium weight flavors possess very good volume while delivering outstanding length on the youthfully austere and balanced finale. This is also firm enough that it's going to require at least 6 to 8 years of keeping first and should ultimately reward 12 to 15.
