The iconic slender legs belong to the Aeo, Hawaiian Stilt, Himantopus mexicanus knudseni. The Aeo are a sleek white and black in color with a long and thin black bill. These beautiful birds are found in the low wetlands of ka pae ina o Hawaii except for Kahoolawe. Yet, their homes are being threatened like many of
