The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins

even with traces of menthol as the Cabernets take the lead here

and this is probably a 15-20 year keeper

yet doesn't cheat the taster on flavor

The finer but not denser middleweight flavors possess a generous mouthfeel along with a certain reserve that becomes more apparent on the sneaky long, balanced and notably dry finale. This could use better depth but more should almost certainly develop if allowed a few years of cellaring first.
