The term "petit point" is French meaning "small point". The colors and design of the petit point purse has lovely colors of flowers and leaves on both sides. Kiss lock closes with a very firm snap. I love the butterscotch trim inside the gold frame. Small pocket on the inside linen look and and feel lining to hold one's license and some bills.
