Jean Noel Gagnard, Chassagne Montrachet Petits Clos Vintage:2017 (Originally published in May 2021)Once again there is a vague mintiness to the otherwise cool and elegant aromas of mostly floral and citrus wisps. The finer but markedly less powerful medium weight flavors possess a succulent mid palate yet no lack of detail on the nicely dry and persistent but not really austere finale. This is really quite pretty and a wine that should reward up to a decade of cellaring.
